Modern Foreign Languages

At Cooks Spinney, Spanish is taught from Year 3 to Year 6 by class teachers using the KAPOW scheme of work. This approach allows our teachers to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that build language skills progressively throughout the year.

We believe it is important for children to gain experiences of other languages and cultures. Through the teaching of a variety of topics, we aim to raise pupils’ awareness and appreciation of Spanish language and culture.
