Year 3 - Ducks and Otters
Summer Term 2, 2026
In English this half term, we will be reading The Street Beneath My Feet by Charlotte Guillain and Yuval Zommer.
In Maths we will be focusing on time, shape, statistics.
In Science we will be learning about skeletons.
In Spanish children will be learning about travelling around Latin America.
In Music this half term, we will be learning to sing and play instruments using Essex school's Charanga programme of study.
In Art the children will be focusing on print making.
In RE children will learn about Christianity.
In Geography will not be taught this term.
History will about Important World Individuals.
Computing will not be taught this term.
In PSHE, this half term, we will be learning about why we should keep active and eat well.
Ducks class and Otters class will have PE on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
