Welcome back everyone!
We are so excited for our amazing year of learning ahead.
What we will be learning this half term:
Read Write Inc
In English we will be reading Little People Big Dreams focusing on Rosa Parks and Emmeline Pankhurst.
In Maths we are looking at Place Value, Addition and Subtraction and Shape.
In Science we will be exploring the Use of Everyday Materials.
In History we are learning about Rights and Responsibilites.
In Geography we are looking at Hot and Cold Places.
In RE we are exploring Why do we need to give thanks? Looking at Hinduism, Christianity and Humanism.
In Computing we are researching Computer Systems and Networks.
In Music we will be exploring the music piece Hands, Feet, Heart.
In Art and Design we will be investigating and creating Abstract Art focusing on the artist Piet Mondrian.
Our PE day will be Wednesdays this half term and we are focusing on Fundamentals and Ball Skills.
